You forgot about swinging the keyboard over your head and scream like a chicken.

The old VT100 terminals from DEC had a "bell test" - an escape sequence that would make its bell/buzzer sound continuously, at full volume. Loud enough to wake the whole office! And you could send that escape sequence via email and instant messages!


I usta have an INIT that enabled the same kind of thing, for System 6...
