Hi, Listers!

I have the following equipment:

NetGear M813 Wi-Fi Router
Internal AirPort Card inside a
Pismo 400 MHz with 512 Mb.
And a Panasonic Cordless 900 MHz Phone.

When I use the phone in the evenings and nights, there is a sound, like a screech, that sometimes sounds loud and sometimes sounds soft. At irregular intervals. It increases if I talk for a long time (more than 10 minutes).
The PB usually is on connected to the Internet. Eudora is set to check the mail every 15 minutes. Firefox is on but not searching, just in the background.

Could the NetGear base be the culprit? I do not want to turn it off and get of the Internet every time I get a call.

Not likely, since 802.11b and g operate at 2.4 GHz, more than likely it's an internal problem with your phone. Have you tried switching channels on the phone?
