I am contemplating doing the same with my Pismo, I need to decide what burner to go with they have an internal slot load that supposed to be native to the newer powerbooks. Or should I go with an external pioneer in a firewire case? My Pismo has a G4 500 upgrade with 1 gig of ram and a 60 gig drive. How do you think my combo would do?
