However, there is a problem. OS X doesn't appear to support IrDA printing, and the Mac Parallel-to-USB adapter was not included. What are my options?
Do I need the specific HP adaptor (C3399A), has HP replaced it with an updated adaptor, or will a generic adaptor due? I've read about problem with the adaptor and later model Powerbooks (meaning the Pismo and ibooks), not having the correct voltage to power the C3399A.
What about a parallel to Bluetooth adaptor? Do they exist, do they work with the Pismo?
I also have the Parallel-to-Serial adaptor from the older HP340, can anything be done with this? Such as a usb-to-serial adaptor?
Do I need gimp-print and cups, or will HP's USB driver for the HP 350 work?
- Ron.
