There are several that use a certain chip set (can't recall the name off hand) that works directly with Airport software. IMO this is the way to go as it makes it more compatible. I was looking at using the Sonnet Aria:

I had a specific need for this card that doesn't apply in your case. I didn't get it because
I moved up to an iBook with AE.
