I just want to say thanks for all the great tips on these things. I am
going to the US this summer too, and for the first time I am thinking of
bringing my computer with me. The iBook is just so great and light, so
it would be great having it, also to download pictures to etc.

Aase :)

Get AirPort or Airport Extreme card and have breakfast in Panera stores.
All
their stores have free WiFi and they are in all major cities.
Alternatively
you could sign-up for T-Mobile WiFi for 30 USD/month for unlimited
access in
all Borders Bookstores, Starbucks Coffee shops and few other places.
Check
their site (http://www.t-mobile.com/hotspot/), you can cancel after you
leave the country.
