I'm considering buying a new hard drive from zip zoom fly. They describe the drives as bare, not coming with cables, etc. I intend to put the drive in my Pismo, which currently has the original drive. Do I need cables or what does this mean?
You'll have to remove the old drive from the drive carrier in your Pismo and place it on the new drive (4 screws maybe) and then plug it in. You shouldn't need any extra cables or screws.
