Pull it out of the center and Radio Shack had a replacement for mine, and I believe Dell also sells the same cord that looks like Mickey Mouse.
That is the AC cord, to the wall. It never fails, IMHO.
If you are talking about the cord that goes from the supply to the computer,
That *is* the one with DC....
you have to crack the case to replace it, but that too is fairly easy. Also, if you don't wind up the cord into the Yo Yo, it will never break, as that is the cause of 95% of all the issues with this power supply. Electronic supply stores have those plugs and all you have to do it solder the wires where they were on the original.
I've never seen the G3/G4 connectors at Radios Hack....and I've looked. Do you have a SKU? I've searched other parts catalogs as well. (I may have missed same, but I'm an EE and have been buying and using component parts for 25+ years, so trust me, the soldering does not scare me...)
You can buy the plug end from iGo, a universal replacement power supply company -- it's $12, I think, but in a molded form that would be a PITA to solder a cable to it.
