Is there any way you can get New York state involved? Was your
product shipped from a warehouse in New York state? What about the
free merchandise? Did any of it come from New York state? New York
state has an excellent consumer protection division. When
Compuserve tried to shut off our service, we sent a letter to
consumer protection division. In less than 45 days, we had a full
refund from Compuserve and we were released from our service contract.
