On the rare occasions I travel, I take the G3 iBook running 10.3.9, with AirPort Card, with me.
I have zero problems connecting to Wi-Fi setups. I have had zero success connecting using the Ethernet cable connection. I have called the hotels' tech support numbers, but often it's a case of checking in around 7:00 in the evening, trying to connect using the Ethernet cable, failing, calling tech support, getting a promise to call back and they never do call back. Is there some URL out there where I can find instructions for how to hook up at hotels/motels using the Ethernet setup? Many thanks, bob -- G-Books is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
