Posible, as these are very fast drives, and will burn a dual-layer DVD at 2.4X, and a single-layer DVD at 8X. Those date rates are just too high for the flimsy interconnection provided to the Lombard and Pismo media bay. Forcing burning down to 2X might be a possible option.
