THe other thing that could be done with a tech person who says "you
need to use a real computer" is to immediately ask to speak to their
supervisor or manager.  Expalin nicely to them that the choice of the
COMPUTER is up to the customer, and wouldn't they agree that insulting
the individual is poor customer service?  It's amazing how things can
change in tone when you do that, and also maybe request the name and
mailing (snail or e-) of the Company president so you can pass on your
experience.  :)
