The Sonnet UATA/66 card has flaky firmware. There is no perfect UATA card ...
yet, but it just might be the Sonnet UATA/100.
Early Sonnet UATA cards were ACARD.
The Sonnet UATA/100 card is Promise. The VST UATA/66 card is also Promise.
The Mac firmware was developed independently of Promise as Promise only makes
PC products under its own name.
