It is well know that the "diamond max" series did NOT suffered from the data
corruption problem.
But those disk are getting old now (I'm not taking about the "diamond max
plus 60" series)
The corruption problem doesn't happen very frequently. But when they happen,
it HURTS...
But try to create a >1GB disk image and run checksum test over it: it'll
fail!
The utility called "Integrity� 1.0.2", provided with HD speedtools is a pure
joke. It sometimes won't detect problems at all.
The only efficient one is "HDcorruption_test" written by Timothy A. Seufert.
