In order to repair an existing, complete machine, a Beige G3 DT is often the 
best bet. I purchased a /266 Rev. 3C "bare bones" (complete machine, as built 
by Apple, including EIDE Zip, but not including any SDRAM or EIDE hard disk) 
for $180.

That's a better deal than a mobo of questionable provenance for "under $200", 
IMO.
