I have that exact model drive installed in my BWG3 rev2.  I made it the 
master drive and the original 6gb drive the slave. It has only been in 
for about 5 months so I can't comment on longevity! But no signs of 
problems so far and I think that with drives, if it is a dud then that 
will show up early. Yes, I do know that drives can fail at any time, but 
I believe that, in general terms, if the first few months are trouble 
free then that is likely to remain so. Now I also know that some 
experiences will differ.
