        Hey, that brings up a question.  I have heard tell that 
sometimes when a hard drive binds up you can put it in a freezer 
overnight and it may run again, at least long enough to get the data 
off it.

        The assumption being that it binds up because of heat and 
when it has cooled and contracted,  it works again.

        Anyone ever get this to actually work?
