For lots of rewriting, the Zip 250 will win hands down when it comes to
speed and versatility. Although the CD can hold more than twice the data
and will be much cheaper per disc, you cannot write anything else to a CD-RW
until you completely wipe the entire surface of the CD. ("Erase Disk" in
the Finder) This means that if you want to put 5MB on a CD-RW, then a short
while later want to put more data on it, you will have to completely erase
the entire CD (even the blank space) then put all of the files back
(including the one(s) that was there) onto the CD. Although having a CD-RW
drive is definitely nice (been using mine for quite a while) I still
*really* value my Zip drive and always use it more often when I have data
that I need to update often.
