RE; you may have already learned this but for me when I first got this G4
350 sawtooth the internal modem would not respond,the local store told me
that on the CD there were more modem scripts to install,that the factory
installed operateing system had not yet been revised ,and that the installed
modem was the newest issue.after that it worked ,and was the best dial up
modem I have ever seen.I have cable now,but knowing this may help. best
