I have the exact same router. I am on my second one but it has been working fine for 2 years. The first one kept loosing communication with the DSL modem a few times a week. After many, many, many calls to tech support, they determined that the problem was heat related and we did an exchange.
Good idea about hooking up a PC so they are forced to talk to you. I didn't have that option and had to go to a supervisor. They say they don't support Mac but they have to support their own stuff. If that's where the problem lies (as in my case) they have to remedy it. -= Ken =- > So does anyone have any ideas for troubleshooting my router?? Its the > BEFSR41, 4 port switch DSL router..
