I feel I'm a little more knowledgeable than the average Mac user, but I'll
cast my vote for the D-Link DI-704 router. It's not pretty, and it has
ports on the front and back, making it a little awkward. However, D-Link
seems to be a Mac friendly company, even giving instructions and pictures in
their manual for Mac setup. On top of this, it is CHEAP. I got a number of
them a while back for $30 each after rebate.

In fact, I liked the D-Link so much, everything I have bought since (hub,
NICs, wireless, etc) has been made by them and works wonderfully.
