I guess I simply don't bother with mail/web order -- why give money to
strangers far afield (mostly in the US ;) when you can provide support for
your own local economy without paying a penalty in terms of cost, and paying
for S&H.

Living in a big city means that I can usually walk into a store and get
things at the same cost as if I were to mail order.

Plus, it's worth "losing" your credit card once in a while and having the
bank re-assign a new account number to you (with my credit card I've found
that automatic withdrawals get transferred to the new account).
