Holy crap! A G4/4000 for $480? Gimme one of those! ;-) But seriously, I am pretty much between a beige G3 (semi-supported under OS X) and a Sawtooth G4 (fully supported under OS X). I think what I end up doing will probably depend more on individual situations than on the research I do. So if I get a G3/266 desktop w/ monitor for $40 or something, then I'll go for that and try to upgrade it frugally (eg I don't really need a CD-RW or DVD, or an 80 GB drive). If I find a really good deal on a Sawtooth G4, then I'll go for that. But I'm just not sure yet.
