About the same price. I just built the thing two months ago. I have checked prices recently and maybe the processor and ram have dropped in price. Might be around $950 dollars now instead of $1,000. > What would be the dollar equivalent on a Mac? Maybe a 933Mhz G4 for around $1494. > Is there any other encoder on Mac that might be faster? Has anybody here tried Audion? I would have to research that. But I would start with MP3 rage and MacAmp. > but my big complaint is in the sluggish html rendering on Mac. I really hope that gets fixed in Jaguar. Tell me about it. That's why when I'm at home I do my web surfing on the PC. It screams. Here is trick for OS 9 users on how to make your web surfing super fast. You must have a lot of ram to do this. Set up a ram disk about 40 - 50 MB's. Drop your Web Brower (the entire application on the ram disk) Go into preferences and point the Web Cache to your Ram Disk. I did this with my cable internet access. Talk about fast,Mama Mia, It was a beautiful thing. -Aaron W. -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
