This brings up a good question. What are the settings on the encoder? I have Audion, it would be worth it to try but my TiBook is SLOW compared to you guys. >Set up a ram disk about 40 - 50 MB's. I think the Macintosh file I/O has always been pretty slow compared to PCs. Possibly because of the dual fork structure. Who knows?
