CD-ROM is the only IDE device in the box. SCSI HDDs. Master/slave? Dunno. I'll check. Which should it be?
And trying to boot by just holding the 'C' key down didn't cut it either. Off to black screen again. PRAM zap fixed it. (Which I find odd... CUDA doesn't fix it.) Another observation... holding the 'option' key during a cold boot will bring up a white screen. Typically no kb control though. White screen has the beginnings of the UNIX boot commands displayed.
