OK, I am starting to believe those who say OS X and SCSI don't mix. I
just fitted an Apple stock (from a G4 Server - bought from OWC) ATTO
UL2D dual channel (one inside, one outside) SCSI card to my G3 B&W
(rev.2) and it works fantastically, unless you are in OX X 10.2.

The drives are fine and it all works like a dream in 9.2.2, and is very
fast (speedd!!). No dice in 10.2. I tried a few different link
settings, including making sure the bus was supplied with terminating
power from 1 drive (the 68-pin cable had an LVD terminator on the end)
and the drives were in LVD mode (as opposed to forced Single-End). I
have also successfully updated the firmware on the ExpressPCI card to
version 1.63U (obtained from ATTO's site).

Any SCSI gurus out there got a similar setup (I have a pair of Seagate
Cheetah 18XL drives, setup at ID0 and ID1) and got any tips on link
settings.
