I put my beige G3 to sleep all the time w/o problems. OS 9.1 (no X). It's
rev 1 rom, and I had no sleep problems either before or after upgrading the
processor from 266 to 433 and the OS from 8.6 and installing a video card.
I have heard many tales of sleep problems- just glad that's one I dont have.
