Make sure you have Javascript enabled, as well as cookies in your 
browser. Try installing the latest MRJ stuff from Apple if the system 
depends on Java.

It's unlikely that they could block your computer, unless your broadband 
provider has given you a static IP address.

Since it is a web site, you should be able to log onto it from anywhere. 
Try someone elses computer, or have someone else you know in the company 
access the site from your home computer, if possible.

If your friend could access it, it's likely, though, that there's 
something screwed up with either Java, Javascript or cookies on your 
home computer.
