I agree that the name of the folder is critical, but the placement can change. I have my Identities Folder in my Documents Folder in my Doc-Data partition. The Outlook Express 5.02 Folder is in my Apps (Mac OS 9) Folder in my Apps partition. Works flawlessly. I had to set this up using an alias of the Identities Folder in the OE 5.02 Folder. Just copying things around did not work.
