You can probably open the files with BBEdit and retrieve your messages in text format at least. I just tried with the various files in the "Main Identity" folder, and they all open fine. A lot of gibberish surrounding the individual messages. Did something similar with an Eudora mailbox that had grown too big for my Q800 to handle it. Opened it with BBEdit, deleted half the messages. Mailbox fixed.
