Even more curious.  The Apple tech indicated there had been "many" 
calls  on the subject. I had one Quicksilver owner tell me his Dual 1 
GHz was affected. It gets even more interesting in that some of us have 
the computer reset to 12/31/69 19:00 EST, and others are resetting to 
01/01/69 0:700 EST?

BTW this behavior does not occur if I boot into 9.2.2. Only in 10.2.4. 
Weirdness to a strange degree. It appears to be innocuous as all other 
functions are fine and it's easy enough to reset the date time. Just 
odd.
