Its happened twice so far on my 1Ghz TiBook.
I didnt think about it when I updated until I saw the article on Apple
Slashdot this weekend.
Came into work this morning, booted up the Ti (was asleep all weekend and
battery died) and once again, it was Wed Dec something 1969.
Just used the Network Time Server and rebooted and it stuck so hopefully it
wont continue to do this..

My Quicksilver 2002 800 however hasnt been affected..

Even more curious. The Apple tech indicated there had been "many"
calls on the subject. I had one Quicksilver owner tell me his Dual 1
GHz was affected. It gets even more interesting in that some of us have
the computer reset to 12/31/69 19:00 EST, and others are resetting to
01/01/69 0:700 EST?

BTW this behavior does not occur if I boot into 9.2.2. Only in 10.2.4.
Weirdness to a strange degree. It appears to be innocuous as all other
functions are fine and it's easy enough to reset the date time. Just
odd.
