Having done some research, Ive noticed that slave drives do work in Rev 1 Blue G3s, there are just some models of (faster) hard drives that experience data corruption problems. However, there is a driver to solve this, or you can try a brand of drive that is compatible. Also, Beige Rev A or Rev 1 G3s can use slave drives in OS X, they just cant be booted from. Anyone know what drives are most compatible with a Blue G3? From what Ive read it seems to be Maxtor.
