I have this ancient LaCie SCSI hard drive, about 3 GB, and a new-to-me beige G3 with a 450mHz processor upgrade (it started life as a 300mHz G3). The G3 won't mount the LaCie. When I probe the buses, it says that there's an unsupported drive at its address.
All I want to do is copy some fairly large files off the external -- things too big to fit on a Zip disk. I understand the beige G3 has an adversion to external hard drives. Is there some kind of software (preferably shareware or freeware) that would permit me to mount this disk and copy files from it? Muchas gracias in advance.
