I'm back with the same problem.
I thought I had licked the situation where my phone connection came on when I didn't want it to in OS 10.2.8 on my G3-mt. I unchecked the box for automatically coming on in both time program and update program. This seemed to solve the problem. Than I updated my Iomega program to make it available for my OS 10.2.8. this required a restart. When the computer came back on, so did the dialing. I noticed that in the Preferences there is an icon for Iomega Active Delivery for updates. I tried to get rid of this but I can't. It refuses to go to the trash. I don't know how to check other programs to see if they are causing the trouble. I really thought I had it licked.
Any help for a desperate soul?
Thanks
Wilton
