The USB printer share control panel showed on the client DT and I could see
the networked printer under local network --> local services --> Stylus
Color 900 on host. It just won't show in the list of networked printers on
the client event after I picked it.

Apple's help area notes (as Clyde suggested) that: "For use on Client
systems without USB hardware, some drivers (including Epson) require that
the USB software components be installed. This is done by reinstalling Mac
OS 9, and select the "Customize" option. Once selected, you get a list of
Software components to install. For MacOS9, Change the Installation Mode
to "Customized Installation". Open the "Network and Connectivity" option and
Check "USB". Leave all other options unchecked. Proceed with the
installation. " I did this using my OS9.1 install disk thinking this would
fix everything and confirmed the items were installed but the printer still
doesn't show up as a networked printer after I choose it. From Apples note
it sounds like this should work with my set-up.

Anyone actually using this on older PowerMacs?

Thanks,
Mike
