I did this using my OS9.1 install disk thinking this would fix everything and confirmed the items were installed but the printer still doesn't show up as a networked printer after I choose it. From Apples note it sounds like this should work with my set-up.
Anyone actually using this on older PowerMacs?
I recently had a problem with a 333 mhz MT w. 9.2.2, that wouldn't connect to a USB printer. Removing all USB extensions, and reinstalling from the older USB Card Support v. 1.4.1 solved the problem. It's available for download from http://apple.com/swupdates
