But I am still curious. The Desktop Folder in 9 or earlier should be invisible except to certain programs, including any list in X, Sherlock and image browsers like Camedia or Canon Browser and others. Something when I was messing with 10.3 changed the folder to be invisible everywhere, though files in it can be found with Find or Sherlock, and the computer uses it correctly, i.e. it displays correctly when booted in 9.2.
