My beige G3/233 seems to be happy with 10.2.8 on it. Is there any advantage to
going up to 10.3? Reading about all the features, improvments and bug fixes
certainly makes it attractive, but realistically from a user's point of view,
just how much difference will I see? I use the machine for some Photoshop/
Illustrator work, word processing and the web e-mail thing.
If speed is an issue, you may want to consider a ZIF upgrade. You can pick up a G4/533 for ~$150 from OWC, which would make Photoshop run *muuuuch* better. I'd be afraid of actual usefulness of it on a 233/10.3 config. I know iPhoto is unbearably slow on my 300, so much so that I have stopped using it except in "emergencies" :)

I have been considering a G 4 upgrade for my Beige. Wouldn't the problem of the stock video still preclude installation of 10.3?
Related question. If I upgrade my G4/400 PCI Yikes with a faster card, can I put the removed 400 mHZ card in the Beige G3?
