Works fine.  I've had several installations  of X and clones on several ide
drives on the pci card and never had a problem on my Beige.  In fact, as I
mentioned earlier, my current Panther installation is over a Jaguar clone which
happens to be on my main 9.2 drive, all in one partition.  Both OS work fine and
that Panther certainly isn't in the first 8 gigs.
