Hey Phil,
Thanks for the input. I've got it going to a point. It has the
small HD oout of the G3 tower and a DVD-ROM and CD-RW pulled from an HP 7960
running. I have to get the floppy drive adapted to the case and I'd like to
put in a couple of store bought 60+ gig HDs when all is in order. I have to
hook up the on/off button, mount a speaker, and I'm considering installing a
5 port USB 2.0 card if I can get the front two ports on this case to run off
the card's internal port. The back of the case is a mess cosmetically and I
have to put in a fan or two and adapt the top edge of the "Wings" card to
the case etc. , but it's been fun so far. The reason I set out on this
(inter alia) is that I bought a G3 Tower skeleton with no skins and
aggregating the skins was wearing me (and innocent third parties) out. I
have more sunk in just postage on the skins than the ATX case cost, and
don't have them all yet. The upshot is that I have metal case power supply,
and most of the skins (no top, no back) if anybody wants to swap for them. I
have a tub of fans by the way, round, square, and small ones, I love 'em all
ones, etc.
