All are interoperable.

My usual controller is an ATTO LVD/SE card ... dual, independent 
channels. Handles LVD/SE drives as well as UW-SCSI drives. There are no 
50-pin drives on this controller, but it could handle that, too.

My other controllers are also ATTO, but are not LVD/SE ... two channels, 
but not independent. Handles any 68-pin drive.

LVD/SE drives are designed to check for LVD, and to use low-voltage 
differential if the host is LVD. Otherwise, the drive switches to 
high-voltage single-ended mode.


High-voltage differential has been obsolete for almost ten years. And, 
there are no drives which are interoreable with HVD.
