_I_ don't know, but as with all Mac performance questions the best place to ask is at: <http://www.xlr8yourmac.com> Search the database for the graphic card and/or the games in which you are interested. No one of us individually can match the vast quantity of knowledge contributed by the good readers of xlr8yourmac. re: Yikes and PCI display cards, as Bruce J. mentioned, we're all looking forward to the moment ATI ships their long awaited Mac Radeon 9200 PCI. I expect it to be a big jump up from the previous fastest supported Mac PCI card, ATI's Radeon 7000. On my 1.5gHz P4 PC I've tested (Q3A timedemo under Win2K) a 64mb R7K PCI and a 64mb R9100 PCI. At 1024x the R7K struggled around 40fps, where with the exact same settings the 9100 posted a blazing ~80fps. On a PCI card!! Yikes indeed!! :-) IIRC the R9100 chipset is junior to that of the R9200, so the new Mac hardware should indeed be very zippy. Actual performance will of course depend on ATI's Mac drivers . . . dan k ................................. http://macdan.n3.net/ carracho://dankephoto.dhs.org:9700 hotline://dankephoto.dhs.org:9500 ................................. -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
