This enabled you to boot from a FW drive on a B&W?

OS X on the firewire would default to OS 9.2.2 on my G3 HD. La Cie tech support (very fast BTW) said to use the Panther Drive Utility and go to restore. In the Restore panel you drag the partition (etc.) into the source and destination windows, click Restore and you're done.
