You are sooooo right! Why just the other day,
I used my old windoze machine to mash down
the contents of my backyard composter. It was just the right tool for the job.
So why are there no (none, nada, zip) Macs within manufacturing, machine control, robotics, interfacing, accounting, pretty much all of engineering and soon science will be exclusivly Windows/Linux.
Not to mention the games industry. 95% of PC games do not exist on the Mac platform.
Soon there will be no Quark, some would argue no loss, which I'm sure will be of comfort as Adobe drops app after app for the Mac.
But seeing as the only use for a computer is to surf the web and write some office documents, that's ok.
Eh ?!
