Listers,
I'm pulling my hair out here.. I have a cheapy DNT G4-SD digital/usb camera.. That under os 9.2.2 would simply mount when plugged in and I could browse the pics.
But now that I've upgraded to 10.2, I plug the cam in and nothing.. nada.. Boot into classic.. nada.. Reboot into 9.2.2, same same..
Googling has shown me that DNT only makes windows drivers.. and I've been to MacUpdate to try some of the generic drivers that are avail there.. And still nothing...
UGGGH, Does anyone have any ideas on how I could get this to work? Or a driver from another cam that would do the trick?
Well there's Macam which is a webcam driver, which might work, (search sourceforge for it) and IOxperts make OS X drivers for a bunch of these kind of cameras.
Both sites list the cameras they're compatible with.
I'm surprised, though, to find it didn't work in classic when it did in OS 9.2
