Is it possible to make a G5 X server function as a normal G5?
It is possible, although it's a little shy in the style department. I know one "home" user with two G4 X Serves and an X raid for a "home computer". It's all just a matter of money. Plus it does not have the "gee whiz" factor of the Power Mac G5 when your wintel impaired friends drop over. :-)
