The Launcher was from satan. But, if you want a replacement, go to www.macupdate.com and search for 'launcher'. There are lots to choose from.

It's still in the Finder code, just not enabled by default. To turn it on, use ASM <http://www.vercruesse.de/software>. I used it for 10.1 & 10.2, but find 10.3's <cmd><tab> switching better meets my needs.
