Lavode, the 10.3 CD I have is only an updater, not a full install disk, but it will start up the computer, and allow me to run Disk Utilities and repair permissions on the OS-X book disk. But that does no good. Afterwards, even with the boot disk selected as the start up disk, the computer will still not boot into 10. I either get a green screen telling me to restart, or a blank blue screen with the cursor in the middle, or sometimes some sort of a terminal mode, waiting for commands I don't know how to give, or other weird things. Anything but the OS-X desktop, it seems. Seven months ago, I did do the original install of OS-X with the 10.2 CDs, which I bought from Other World Computing, and which have "eMac" written on them, so they must have originally been for an eMac. But OWC swore they would work with any Mac, and indeed they did accomplish my original installation of X, back then. But they will not boot the machine anymore. Don't know what to try next. Running out of ideas. Not that savvy with X anyway.
